2022 Volunteer of the Year
It is no exaggeration to say that volunteers are the beating heart of Amberglen Good Works. They are our most important resource and are essential in transforming our dreams into reality.
To affirm our belief in the importance of volunteerism, we honor one of our members each year with the Volunteer of the Year award. This year’s award was announced at the annual Amberglen Holiday Gathering on the evening of December 2nd, and was presented by the AGW Steering Committee to Sue Nelson.
Sue is a regular attendee of our monthly pizza social and planning meetings and has been actively involved in nearly all of the good works projects that have been completed in the past year, including Adopt-a-Road, the Native Plantings Project, AGW Boosters, and the Amberglen Holiday Gathering in support of Clark County Food Bank.
Thank you, Sue, for your efforts in building a better community. We couldn’t have done it without you!
